I am going to take the week off from posting. My voice doesn’t need to be amplified right now. Try to tune out the bullshit and tune in to the voices that really matter. Donate if you can. March if you can. Educate yourself. Set aside an hour for dedicated readings - there are plenty of links to great books and articles on racial injustices, anti-racism, and BIPOC memoirs that have been circulating right now. I’m positive you can find them if you want to. If you’ve been silent, your silence has been noted. I might be quiet this week but I’ll still be watching. Painting these men and boys today was heartbreaking. Reading their stories, thinking about their families. Their children... some of them were children. I haven’t looked at the news today so I’m not sure what’s happening tonight but I hope progress is made, whatever that looks like.

These will be going out to my patrons this month(two days left, my apologies if they’re late) and I will be donating $5 on behalf each patron to the Minnesota Freedom Fund, as well as $5 for any new patrons who join in the month of May.
