It is a rare occasion when it rains in the Mojave Desert, and even more rare to see the inches we’re accumulating in Joshua Tree! The snow started late in the night and we awoke to a snow-covered yard.
We live at about 2500 ft above sea level, and while the higher elevations in the National Park see snow, it’s very rare to see it like this in town. It was by far the best morning walk I’ve had in years. Pure magic.
